Greatest American Dog Winner: Travis and Presley

Who won the Greatest American Dog?  The rookie season kicked off for this pooch based reality TV show on CBS and even for dog lovers it was a struggle to make it all the way through to the final show.  Still we made our way through to the final three pairs of dogs and owners. The top three were Lori and Andrew along with Travis and Presley and JD and Galaxy.

At stake is the $250,000 prize for the winner.  TR writes, "Overall I thought the last show was anti-climatic the interviews were boring, the obstacle course was a re-run and final exam had nothing new in it. I would have liked to see more comments from the other contestants. That would have been much more interesting."

That's a very good analysis and sort of the way the entire show went - at least for me.  It's a good idea for a show but needs some serious refining to make it better for the end user - the person watching at home on television.

Wednesday night was the last show for Greatest American Dog and the first pair eliminated were JD and Galaxy.  It was down to the final two with Travis and Presley and Lori and Andrew.  And the winner for Greatest American Dog is Presley.
