Barack Obama has made a slight rebound in the public polls of late but the Democratic presidential nominee must be seeing some problems in his internal polling as he has ordered his supporters to argue and get in the face of those that disagree with them on the candidacy of Barack Obama. The marching orders have been set and Obama wants an attack.

Is this a wise move? One writer has this, "Nice. So much for the politics of hope and unity. So much for teaching our youth how to be good citizens and neighbors. So much for teaching tolerance, respect, and bi-partisanship. If someone doesn’t agree with you, especially if they don’t choose Obama, just get in their face and pick a fight."

It certainly doesn't seem like he is trying to bring the county together with a statement like this. The article is an Associated Press fluff piece from Kathleen Hennessey and if she would have thought about it, she likely would have left that particular quote out of the article.
This is the quote from the article directly attributed to Barack Obama, "I need you to go out and talk to your friends and talk to your neighbors. I want you to talk to them whether they are independent or whether they are Republican. I want you to argue with them and get in their face," he said. Is that really the political discourse the US needs right now?
