Though she was basically gaffe free, Sarah Palin missed wildly with her debut appearance on CBS. Palin had a two-day visit with Katie Couric that was recorded and several different interviews were broadcast on the network and some of her answers have many scratching their heads. This week on Thursday, the Biden-Palin Debate.
The Biden-Palin Debate: Examining the Gaffes
Thursday night may be make or break for Sarah Palin. Many believe the theory that she must hit it out of the park or risk losing some independent voters. Joe Biden has Democrats quite nervous that he might slip and come across as condescending (or worse, sexist) with one slip of the tongue.

Biden's gaffes are legendary and Lynn Edwards has a link to a video here that shows Biden asking a paraplegic "to stand up to be recognized" at a campaign rally. His last big time error was also with Katie Couric and Biden sounded as clueless as ever. Biden said: "When the stock market crashed, Franklin D. Roosevelt got on the television and didn’t just talk about the, you know, the princes of greed. He said, ‘Look, here’s what happened.'"
That's not quite how it went as it was Herbert Hoover was president when the market crashed in 1929 people got their news from the radio in those days, not the television. Who will blow it - Sarah Palin or Joe Biden?
