Hollywood actress Salma Hayek took Manhattan recently after spending some time in Paris with her ex-fiancé Francois-Henri Pinault. Salma is very busy she recently signed on to lend what the Associated Press calls her "star power to a UNICEF campaign to eradicate tetanus in mothers and babies around the world within four years."

Very noble cause. "One of the things that was very moving about the trip was to see 15-year-old girls, really young, taking responsibility for their lives and their children before they're born by saying 'I am going to be healthy, I am going to take this vaccination,'" Hayek told the press.

On the work side expect to see Salma Hayek and Sarah Palin clone Tina Fey to be working together soon (but it won't be on Saturday Night Live). According to a report from the Gossip Girls, "Salma’s gig will be on the hit NBC show 30 Rock and is said to span two episodes and will air later this season.
