On the fast track teen stars Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez spend a lot of time together. So much so, Selena has announced to USA Today that her and Demi are working on a single and are planning a tour together. The Nick Jonas sweetie (she now says she is getting to know the youngest member of the Jonas Brothers) shares everything with Demi from auditions to makeup and clothing.

In an interview with Bop! Demi explains how they two have maintained such a strong friendship. "Selena and I aren't competitive. We've talked about it and we've known since we were young that we have the same image. We're both Hispanic and have dark hair, it's just one of those things. We would drive three hours to an audition in Austin and my mom would say if one of us gets something it's better than none of us getting something. So whoever gets it, we're happy for each other."

Demi, who starred in Disney's summer hit Camp Rock, recently released her debut album. The young star wrote all but two songs on the album and worked closely with The Jonas Brothers on both projects.

Demi, who is reportedly dating Nick Jonas, has been working on her debut album as well and it expecting it's release sometime next year.
