Here's a tip, if you are posing as a fake cop don't pull over a real police officer. That is, unless you want to visit a jail - for real. Connecticut native and 'fake cop' Israel Gomez was "playing police officer" when he attempted to pull over what turns out to be a real off-duty cop. As in an actual police officer.
Stupid Criminals File: Fake Cop Busted by Real Police Officer
File this one under the stupid criminal file. According to a report from the Associated Press, "Police say 20-year-old Gomez turned on flashing lights and used a siren and loudspeaker to coax police Lt. Ronald Bair off the road. Bair called for backup, and officers arrested Gomez and 20-year-old Esteban Cardona."

It is not yet clear if the two men had pulled over other unsuspecting motorists before they were busted by the real men in blue but they have been hit with a nice little array of criminal charges. Cardona was in another vehicle.
Gomez is charged with impersonating a police officer, reckless driving and improper use of red flashing lights, the wire service notes and Cardona was hit with one charge of reckless driving.
