Keith Olbermann to a new four-year contract and he is a big fan of lesbian weddings. Unfortunately Olbermann won't be attending any in California. When Ellen DeGeneres and her long time love Portia de Rossi were hitched earlier this year, it appears that their marriage as on borrowed time.

But it wouldn't be the usual Hollywood fare that will break up the marriage (has anyone else noted that Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie are still in the media talking about that whole mess with Brad Pitt?) it appears it is the voters of California that don't want the two ladies hitched.

Proposition 8 won in California (, the same-sex marriage ban passed by California voters last week) and that means gay marriages are no more in the Golden State. That has Olbermann in an uproar and he let loose with an impassioned plea, though it seems a bit late.

So what is next for supporters of gay marriage - right now it appears to be anger and frustration as many are lashing out at all sorts of folks in California, while some are even blaming Barack Obama as African American voters voted heavily for Obama and against gay marriage.
