Stevie Hicks played for the Iowa State University Cyclones and the young man has now been found dead under a bridge in what sounds like a mystery.  According to a report from the Associated Press, the 25-year old former gridiron star for the NCAA team was found on Friday morning on Interstate 480 in Omaha Nebraska.

Hicks had ties to the area and a eport notes that the former NCAA running back graduated from Creighton Prep High School in Omaha.  He was a record setting bakc and Hicks was the Cyclones' top rusher for three consecutive seasons.

Police told Action 3 News that authorities were called in when a motorist saw Hick's body and called 911.  According to the report he was still alive when "medics rushed him to the University of Nebraska Medical Center where he later died."

Sad story.  Several reports from the Omaha area seem to indicate that police are remaining tight-lipped on what they have found out and only seem to want to say that they are investigating.
