New American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi has already picked a winner - she recently got engaged to the man of her dreams, a report from the National Enquirer claims this week. According to the report she got the big question is December and she said yes. They name the man as Mike McCuddy in this week's issue. The report cites the insider that says that two are planning a summer wedding - after the eighth season of American Idol wraps.

The report also claims that fellow judges Randy Jackson, Paula Abdul, and Simon Cowell will be invited to the happy event. Certainly the timing will be good if the report plays out as idol will be coming off its finale which draws tens of millions of viewers and tons of interest from the celebrity world.

According to the celebrity news magazine Kara and Mike have been dating for a little more than a year - and Kara firmly believes that her late mother helped fix her up with him from beyond the grave! "I have a place in Maine, and basically he was the general contractor on the house next door to mine," she said recently, according to a report from the New York Post.

"I met him on the eve of the 10 year anniversary of my mother's death. It was kind of like my mom said, 'You've been dating a lot of dogs lately - I'm going to send you a present." Mike has also gotten a big thumbs up from Kara's dad, former New York Republican Rep. Joseph J. DioGuardi. "Kara's dad really likes Mike,"an insider told The Enquirer.
