Zac Efron is encouraging girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens to get naked. The High School Musical hunk thinks she should shed her 'goody-goody' image, sources say. And he has told the 20-year-old that the best way to progress her career is by taking her clothes off for a men's magazine shoot, or stripping in a film role.

A source said: "Zac believes it is a good way for her to get beyond the teeny-bopper stigma. "He is making the leap to A-list actor and he wants Vanessa to go along with him." Disney star Vanessa was embroiled in a nude photo scandal in 2007 when racy private pictures hit the internet.

And she has said herself she would go naked on screen if she found a suitable role. Zac, 21, himself recently posed semi-naked for GQ magazine. The source told a US magazine: "He told a pal, if she has to bare more of her body, then she shouldn't be afraid of doing that."
