Would a Jon and Kate Gosselin divorce be a reality TV ratings giant? The pair just had a wedding anniversary, but it seems they didn't really celebrate it together and Us Weekly Magazine claims that Jon celebrated Kate's birthday with his rumored girlfriend Deanna Hummel. Is this all for TV ratings or is it real?

In Touch Magazine asks that if it is real, "Why Is She Trying So Hard?" and notes, "She’s Happier Without Him." The magazine has an item that has this, "Jon and Kate - who are only staring together for the show, according to an insider - haven’t been spotted together in weeks."

"While Jon was in New Jersey, Kate took the kids on vacation. Despite the fact that they recently told Entertainment Weekly they are working on their relationship, they both seem perfectly content living separate lives, with Kate making a point of showing she’s more focused on the children than Jon. “I’m continuing on as the best mom I know how to be,” she says."

Some observers agree noting that, Kate seems content without Jon around and points out that on June 5, "Kate took her youngest children to the beach on Bald Head Island in North Carolina with the help of two security guards and two nannies."

Friends have spilled that Jon has had it with the glare of fame and is tired of the spotlight - ITW notes, "Back in Pennsylvania, Jon looked weary as he took twins Cara and Madelyn, 8, to Austin’s restaurant in Reading on June 6." How long will this go on?
