The last episode before the hiatus for TLC reality TV program Jon and Kate Plus 8, was Jon and Kate Gosselin helping their kids get "Crooked Houses" which are playhouses designed for kids.  After the episode they said they were going to take a hiatus and then filed for divorce. Now there are rumors that Jon Gosselin's girlfriend will join the show, once it returns.  TLC has answered and said that won't happen but if she doesn't, why would anyone watch?

In Touch has a report that claims Jon is well on his way to a new life.  The celebrity magazine reports, "Feeling like he’s “been thrown under the bus” but Kate, and portrayed “as the cheating husband *which he has repeatedly denied), “Jon is eager to start a new life as a single man.  The 32 year old, who spent Father’s Day with the kids (and without Kate), is looking for new digs in New York City - and was spotted at the exclusive Trump Place.

The mag adds that he is "Sporting flashier clothes than his frugal wife would ever have approved of, Jon deeply resents the control Kate has exerted over his life.  “He’s had enough of Kate treating him like he was her ninth child instead of her husband,” the insider says.  And though he claims he will always love her as “the mother of his children,” it seems clear to everyone - including Kate - that he is happier without her.

The day the papers were filed, Jon went out grocery shopping.  When approached at the store and asked where Kate was, he appeared calm.  “I have no idea,” he said.  And sadly, he didn’t seem to care.
