The fabulous Katie Holmes' much-speculated appearance on So You Think You Can Dance has been confirmed. Producer and judge Nigel Lythgoe announced the actress will appear on stage for the 100th episode of the hit reality TV show that scours the US looking for the next best thing in dance talent.

Holmes will dance in a Tyce Diorio-choreographed tribute to Judy Garland on July 23. Lythgoe revealed the news at the launch of the Dizzy Feet Foundation, which will provide scholarships for underprivileged dancers.

Holmes is expected to donate her entire proceeds from the appearance to the foundation. "I think it's important for children to experience music and dance," Holmes said.

The American actress is in Australia to film a low-budget horror movie, Don't Be Afraid of the Dark. Her husband Tom Cruise has accompanied her to Melbourne with their daughter Suri, 3.
