Rumors and speculation have always surrounded Oprah Winfrey and BFF Gayle King that the two were gay lovers.  So - in July the two ladies made an adamant denial in 'O' magazine.

Now Rosie O'Donnell - who apparently is planning on delivering her whole payload in the first month- claims Oprah is 'a little bit gay' in another moment of stupidity from 'The View.'

Oprah earlier has stated that she believes that people to that still question her sexuality means they think she is a liar.

Does Rosie think Oprah is a liar?

TMZ gives the report:

Rosie O'Donnell trained her gaydar on Oprah Winfrey and her BFF Gayle King on "The View," saying that the talk-show queen and her BFF Gayle King are, despite their protestations to the contrary and despite their not being full-blown lovers, "a tiny bit gay."

As the denizens of "The View" mused about Oprah and Gayle's cross-country trip, as chronicled on Oprah's season premiere Monday, Rosie turned her attention to the pair. Her assessment? "You might be a little bit gay, you're just not doin' it," she said of O and G, explaining that an absence of sex wouldn't preclude the pair from sharing in a certain Sapphic satisfaction.

Is Rosie this desperate already?

Cue the rep™: A call to Oprah's rep by TMZ at Harpo Productions was not returned.  Best guess, Rosie's rep will again point to the ratings for the first day.

For those not keeping score - Rosie has now alienated Christians and probably much of Oprah's audience.

Here's a bit of the Oprah- Gayle discussion from earlier.

Lisa: Well, let's get right to it! Every time I tell somebody, "I'm interviewing Oprah and Gayle," the response is always the same: "Oh. [Long pause] Are they…you know…together?"

Oprah: You're kidding. People are still saying that?

Lisa: Every single person. And I say, "No, I don't think so." And invariably, they respond with something like "You know, you're very naive."

Oprah: I understand why people think we're gay. There isn't a definition in our culture for this kind of bond between women. So I get why people have to label it—how can you be this close without it being sexual? How else can you explain a level of intimacy where someone always loves you, always respects you, admires you?

Gayle: Wants the best for you.

Oprah: Wants the best for you in every single situation of your life. Lifts you up. Supports you. Always! That's an incredibly rare thing between even the closest of friends.

Gayle: The truth is, if we were gay, we would so tell you, because there's nothing wrong with being gay.

Oprah: Yeah. But for people to still be asking the question, when I've said it and said it and said it, that means they think I'm a liar. And that bothers me.
