Desperate Housewives Star Eva Longoria and Tony Parker Split?

Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria and her longtime beau Tony Parker of the San Antonio Spurs have split, a published report claims.  The pair have endured speculation of this sort before and just purchased a home together so the report seems a bit out of the blue.

Nonetheless Life & Style Weekly says it is "game over."

A friend close to the couple exclusively tells LifeandStylemag.com that "Eva decided in the end that Tony was not the right one for her,” says the insider.

Adding to the surprise is the fact that the couple, who have been dating for the past year and a half, just recently bought a home together in LA.

And just two days ago at NYC’s NBA store, Tony told LifeandStylemag.com that their new home was almost done, thanks to Eva.

"I'm not touching the decorating!” he said. “I let her handle that!”

The insider says one reason Eva decided to call off the relationship was their 7-year age difference: He’s 24, she’s 31.  “She just decided he's too young. She's a rich woman and can live without him,” says the insider.

Tony even told LifeandStylemag.com that he was in no rush to marry Eva.

“I'm 24, I've got time!” he said. “But we do love each other."

Cue the rep ™:  Tony’s rep had no comment and Eva’s rep could not be immediately reached for comment.

One can assume that denials all around will be forthcoming no matter if they are split or not.  Life & Style promises they will have the updates on the blog.
