What is in the water in Nashville these days?  The country music capital has watched as two of its brightest stars have had their personal lives unravel and another has been dragged into a scandal he appears to have nothing to do with.  First Sara Evans bombshell shocking divorce claims were splashed across the entertainment media world in shocking and graphic fashion.

Accusation and charges of adulterous affairs are now going back and forth between Sara and hubby Craig Schelske.  She has accused him of sleeping with their married nanny Alison Clinton and a source told AOL's Entertainment web site TMZ.Com earlier that Schelske accused his wife of having affairs with country singer Kenny Chesney and other unnamed "associates in the music business."

Alison Clinton took a lie detector test and denies any affair with Schelske.  Kenny Chesney released a statement that said the accusation was "completely untrue."

TMZ reported that a Chesney rep said that Sara was the special guest on Kenny's first headlining tour and they're friends. He would NEVER think of her like that. He's saddened by what Sara and her family are going through in this personal situation." The rep added that if Craig truly did make these accusations Kenny is "disappointed in Craig and the media for perpetuating groundless allegations."

Kenny really got the shaft on this one; it appears that his name was released just to shock.

Her other accusations were detailed and graphic in the court and involved her husband allegedly surfing the web looking for sexual partners and having pictures of he and other women and other nude photos of himself in an aroused state.

Now in court documents Craig Schelske claims the day before Sara filed divorce papers, he "discovered Wife's intimate relationship with another man not her husband and an argument ensued between the parties."

This time sources connected with the case tell TMZ that while they were together Schelske accused his wife of having an affair with Tony Dovolani, her "Dancing with the Stars" partner.

Evans and Dovolani have both said the claim is bogus.

Schelske denies Evans' allegation that he was unfaithful during the marriage and denies there were "any sexual photographs of him with any other women as there are no authentic photographs of husband unclothed with any sexual partner or alone except as taken by Wife or with Wife on the single occasion in which both parties participated." Schelske says he "regrets the incident but would state and show that Husband and Wife were acting as two consenting adults..."

In other words there may be nude photos - but he is alleging that Sara took them.

Next up, country superstar Keith Urban has backslid.  Keith Urban voluntarily admitted himself to a treatment rehabilitation center last night with his wife, actress Nicole Kidman, by his side, according to a statement released by his rep.

“I deeply regret the hurt this has caused Nicole and the ones that love and support me,” said Keith. “One can never let one's guard down on recovery and I’m afraid that I have. With the strength and unwavering support I am blessed to have from my wife, family and friends, I am determined and resolved to a positive outcome.”

As a result of his treatment, all immediate appearances for his forthcoming CD (originally scheduled for release November 7) will be postponed.

For one week - Hollywood has nothing on Nashville when it comes to scandals.
