The fabulous Katie Holmes™ and her fiancé Tom Cruise were apparently MIA over the weekend at soccer match. They always go - so what gives? Calm down Cruise conspiracy theorists - it isn't anything sinister, in fact one theory being bandied about is that perhaps the wedding is getting closer and TomKat are playing wedding planners.

For the first time this season, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes were a no-show at Tom's daughter Isabella's soccer game this weekend -- begging the question, what kind of a major event is so important, that it would draw the couple away from their usual sideline seats? Hmm ... maybe a wedding?

While the AOL entertainment web site readily admits it couldn't confirm that TomKat were actually out prepping for the big day, they were able to confirm that Tom called in a surrogate soccer mom for the weekend -- his mother Mary Lee Mapother.
No word on whether Mary Lee was responsible for bringing the halftime oranges or the postgame snack.

An earlier report last week by Jennifer Cox cited Us Weekly and the weekly entertainment magazine confirmed that Katie will don Armani for the ceremony.
"I can confirm that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have asked Giorgio Armani to design their official wedding attire for their upcoming marriage," Rod Manley, Director of Public Relations and Media Planning for Armani, tells the magazine.

The item on the blog also stated that the spokesman added that an Armani photographer will be taking pictures at the wedding, along with photographers hired by Cruise.
