Miss Great Britain Strips for Playboy, Stripped of Title

Miss Great Britain, the lovely Danielle Lloyd is stripping for Playboy.  Oh - and she's also out as Miss Great Britain.  There are two schools of thought as to why Danielle was booted.

The first is that she was axed over affair with judge. 

The NY Daily News reports that the curvy brunette (now a blonde) was undone by her tongue when she bragged in a magazine interview that she got a wildly expensive pair of Jimmy Choo shoes for Christmas from her soccer-star squeeze - while they were in bed.

That's a bit of a problem as that the squeeze, Teddy Sheringham, was one of the judges who voted for her - and they told everybody they began seeing each other after the pageant in February.

"Danielle told us she and Teddy met after she was crowned," Miss Great Britain Chairman Robert de Keyser said. "Now she is telling a magazine they spent Christmas in bed. She left us no choice but to fire her."

Not so says the new Playboy Playmate. 

She says she was banned for posing topless for Playboy.  Playboy has the tease of the photographs online.  The now blonde beauty will make her debut in a few days and the tease is here.

On her web site she writes:

I have tried to have a quiet week this week - well kind of anyway until yesterday!! Here we have it - I was yesterday evening stripped of my title as Miss Great Britain because I will be appearing in the December issue of Playboy which is out on Friday 10th November in the UK.

I can't say much about it at the moment, but I can certainly assure you that Ted and I had never met until the night of the contest of Miss GB, in fact I didn't even know who Ted was, but I am glad I did meet Ted that night he is the best thing to have come out of all this. I am delighted and honored to be appearing in Playboy and I can't wait to see the final copies of it when it hits the news stands. When I was sitting in the Playboy office with all the front covers from Marilyn Monroe to Sharon Stone on the wall around me I was overwhelmed and I'm so proud to be there.

Sheringham, 40, is one of Britain's best-known soccer players. Previously, Lloyd had said that she hooked up with Sheringham after running into him at a bar in London.

The contest said it would make an announcement later about her replacement.
