The Republican Party is warning their GOP base not to panic when the exit polls begin to hit the Internet, their television screens and begin to scream from radios. In an election that already appears to favor the Democratic Party, the GOP seems to want to make certain they don't lose any votes to discouraged voters that hear the exit polling.
Certainly the exit polling in 2004 was an absolute disaster.
