People’s Choice Award: Jennifer Aniston Leads

People’s Choice Award nominees have been announced and Jennifer Aniston and her exes are front and center.  She is up for favorite female movie star and she an Vince Vaughn are nominated for best on-screen matchup at the People's Choice.

In and Jennifer old versus new Brad Pitt & Vince Vaughn are up for 'leading man' at the 33rd annual People's Choice Awards.  Nominations were announced Tuesday at the Peninsula Hotel by actors Neil Patrick Harris, Alyson Hannigan and Isaiah Washington.

Internet research firm Knowledge Networks called on pop culture fans to help determine the nominees. The public can help choose the winners online at www.pcavote.com. The CBS-TV show will broadcast from the Shrine Auditorium on Jan. 9, 2007.

A second round of nominees for categories that include favorite movie, new TV comedy and remake of a song will be announced later.

The first round nominees are:

Female movie star: Jennifer Aniston, Halle Berry, Sandra Bullock

Male movie star: Johnny Depp, Tom Hanks, Denzel Washington

Leading lady: Cameron Diaz, Kirsten Dunst, Scarlett Johansson

Leading man: Matt Damon, Brad Pitt, Vince Vaughn

Female action star: Kate Beckinsale, Halle Berry, Uma Thurman

Male action star: Johnny Depp, Samuel L. Jackson, Jet Li

On-screen matchup: Jennifer Aniston & Vince Vaughn in "The Break-Up," Matt Damon, Jack Nicholson & Leonardo DiCaprio in "The Departed," Johnny Depp & Keira Knightly in "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest"

Female singer: Faith Hill, Shakira, Carrie Underwood

Male singer: Trace Adkins, Kenny Chesney, Toby Keith

Group: The Black Eyed Peas, Nickelback, The Red Hot Chili Peppers
