Despite the altercation that occurred last month on the set of "Grey's Anatomy" between Patrick Dempsey and Isaiah Washington, the series' Kate Walsh tells us the cast is still very supportive of each other.

"Everything is fine. I think people have a tendency to blow things way out of proportion, so it's already history for us," says Walsh of the blowup that took place when a slur-hurling Washington was reportedly sounding off to cast mate T.R. Knight for arriving late, and Dempsey intervened on Knight's behalf.
Most recently, the group had a lot to celebrate with the engagement of Ellen Pompeo to her boyfriend of three years, Chris Ivery. "We're just so happy. I can't wait to give them both a big kiss. They're great people," says Walsh. As for what to expect during the rest of the season, the actress, who plays Addison Montgomery, adds, "We've got lots of surprises coming. Just tune in!"
HOT SPOT:
Sean Hayes, Jason Alexander, Megan Mullally and Mo'Nique are among the guest actors helping "The Campus Ladies" get "into all sorts of shenanigans" when the Oxygen sitcom returns for its second season Dec. 6, reports Carrie Aizley.
The improvised cult hit series, about a couple of middle-aged women who become way-way-wayward college students, will include such action as the gals signing up for a group called The Christian Brigade when they're attracted by the smell of their cooking and want to eat their food.
According to Aizely, this season will also have the Campus Ladies, Joan and Barri -- played by Aizley and co-creator/co-writer and co-star Christen Sussin -- rushing a black sorority. "Mo'Nique is our guest that week, playing one of the professors," reports Aizley.
She adds, "When they get an assignment in sociology class where they have to live as a minority for a week or somebody not as fortunate as they are, Barri decides she's blind, and I was in a wheelchair." And as if that wasn't potentially offensive enough, "We have one episode where Barri ends up dating a mentally challenged person (played by Sean Hayes) but doesn't know that he is … It's all crazy, crazy ... "
Aizley says she would never have predicted their particular brand of crazy would strike such a nerve with the audience and Hollywood's finest. "I still don't believe it. It's always amazing to me that people like Megan Mullally or Sean Hayes say, 'Yeah, I'll be on it.'" She also has been told that "Penny Marshall and Bevery D'Angelo said they were fans of the show" and may guest as well.
REPRESENTING THE TEAM:
"CSI: Miami's" Rex Linn says his trailer and his home are the places to be at the height of college football season for the cast and crew of the hit CBS drama. "I'm a Texas Longhorn and I've got my trailer completed covered with Texas Longhorn decals," says the Spearman, Texas, native, who plays Det. Frank Tripp on the show. "A lot of people on the set follow college football, so I told all my boys and girls at work they could represent their teams on the left side of my trailer. Now it's covered with USC, UCLA, Penn State, Michigan and Oklahoma decals."
Linn adds the "CSI: Miami" troupe have become a part of his long-standing Saturday college football barbecue party. "My front door has been open for 13 years," says Liinn, who invites any and all comers. "It's all about the spirit of college football. It's so much better than pro football." He provides Bloody Marys and barbecue -- "that's my favorite food on the whole planet" -- but says, "You can't walk in my house unless you're representing your team. There's a sporting goods store right down the street."
RIDING THE TRAIL:
Riders on the Storm -- the group made up of former The Doors band mates Ray Manzarek and Robbie Krieger, along with Ian Astbury of The Cult -- will play London's famed Roundhouse nightery on New Year's Eve. "It's a psychedelic ballroom again, and the same exact venue we played in 1968," Manzarek reports.
This is the 40th anniversary of "Ray and Robbie playing together. It's not an official tie-in with The Doors. It just so happens that coincidentally we're out playing again and it's all legal," Manzarek smilingly points out. In fact, Riders on the Storm is doing a European tour at year's end, then South America, Asia, "then in the summer, the States," he reveals.
