The magazine reports that Jessica nearly sprang a topless surprise on the guests at the 29th annual Kennedy Center ceremony.  According to the report the buxom blonde nearly popped out an it was Jessica's faulty dress that made her cry during a tribute performance to Dolly Parton at the Kennedy Center Honors event on Nov. 3.

As she sang to honor Parton, reports say she was seen on tape grabbing the strapless gown with one arm, while holding a microphone.  She was able to keep her gown up until the end of the song, but was visibly upset as she ran off stage.

Parton looked on and smiled during the performance, and leaned over to whisper to a friend after Simpson exited the stage.

Simpson was in tears when she and the other singers in the tribute came back out.
