Jessica Simpson & Lane Garrison?

Jessica Simpson once lived with Lane Garrison in Texas.  Before either were famous, Garrison stayed with Jessica and the Simpson clan for almost a year, and has said that he and Jessica "grew up together," according to a report from TMZ.

Garrison, a star in the Fox series 'Prison Break' was involved in a fatal car accident over the weekend. 

According to police he was driving two 15-year-old girls and a 17-year-old boy in his SUV Saturday night, when the vehicle jumped a curb and hit a tree in Beverly Hills.

Beverly Hills High School student Vahagn Setian was killed in the accident.

Alcohol is suspected in the crash. 

According to the Boston Herald, Garrison has lawyered up with a powerhouse Los Angeles defense attorney now that police are questioning if he was driving drunk the other night when he crashed his SUV and killed a 17-year-old passenger.

Earlier this year, Lane told People Magazine about his adolescent days; he "stole everything" he could, including cars and stereos. At 15, after an abortive attempt to steal a jug of wine from a stranger's garage, Garrison says his mom "slapped the crap" out of him and actually took him to a police station to scare him.

At 17, Garrison was sent to live with the Simpsons, and Lane told the weekly entertainment magazine that he's "very grateful" to Joe Simpson for the experience, even though living with Jessica was "torture" because she was "gorgeous."
