Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were allegedly the target of death threats when they were filming 'A Mighty Heart' in India.  Though those threats were later denied by authorities a bizarre story from Australia reveals that one disturbed man believed that his father was set to murder Angelina Jolie.

The man suffered from schizophrenia and was hallucinating as he was off his meds.

He then stabbed his father and killed him in a bloody struggle because he was convinced that he was set to harm Angelina Jolie and her then unborn baby.  The case went to trial and the man, Daniel Carl Ryan, 31, was found not guilty of murder because of mental impairment, reports the herald Sun of Australia.

According to the paper he stabbed his father twice in the chest while his sister desperately tried to keep him from killing their father.  The case revealed in court that Ryan told a hospital nurse he had to act because his father was "going to hurt someone important".

When the nurse asked who, he said, "Angelina Jolie."

As the sad story plays out, the killer will not go to prison but  remain under supervision in a psychiatric center.
