John Corbett & Heather Locklear: Sex in the City?

Blonde bombshell Heather Locklear and singer/actor John Corbett were thrust together in Pasadena to promote The Lifetime Network for the TV critics.  An odd couple - but Heather was excited about something she didn't know about John.  Sex and the City's Corbett began the exchange by saying, "I don't know if a lot of men watch the Lifetime channel - raise your hand if you watch the Lifetime channel. Be honest."

No critic would admit it - and even if they did they would say it was for work.  But according to the Arizona Republic's Bill Goodykoontz, Heather was excited about Corbett's 'other job.'

His co-star in the Lifetime movie (Montana Sky), Ashley Williams, joked about how Corbett showed up on set, fresh from tour, looking like "a rock star."  "I never knew you were a rock star," Locklear said, leaning over and looking to her right at Corbett.

Goodykoontz writes:  "Much laughter. Locklear, as you know if you glance at the fine publications at the supermarket checkout line, has quite a history with rock stars. She was married to Motley Crue's Tommy Lee, then to Bon Jovi's Richie Sambora, who, if you can believe these things, now dates Denise Richards, who was married to Charlie Sheen and was -- WAS -- friends with Locklear. Whew. Complicated, and not quite so funny once you explain it."

Someone asked how she was doing. Good, she said, cracking a couple of jokes about it, before deciding, "Oh (expletive), I should just keep my mouth shut. Then, ignoring her own advice: "I'm single. I still like rock stars." 

That may count Corbett out as he is country.  But Heather wouldn't rule out that genre either.  She replied, "Let me tell you, Bon Jovi has crossed over to country, so at that time it was good. I did a Toby Keith video, and that was good." Beat. "Just the video." More laughs. "I'm sure he's good too, but I don't -- didn't ask his wife."

Since John is pretty serious with Bo Derek, she may get asked as well.
