Reports are that Britney Spears and the man known as Kevin Federline 2.0 are kaput. Model Isaac Cohen and Brit have reportedly split, as the singer spilled the beans herself in an impromptu interview with photo agency x17 Online.

But despite that first hand declaration by Brit, her beau of three weeks claims that the relationship is still on.

Star Magazine spoke exclusively with the handsome model on Friday January 19th at his beige carpeted apartment in Encino, CA where he was listening to music playing softly. Isaac explained to Star that "everything is fine" between him and Brit.
"I talked with her earlier today," he said. The weekly entertainment magazine notes that the tall, handsome and exceedingly polite (Isaac offered to shake a reporter's hand not once, but twice!), Isaac seemed a bit overwhelmed by all of the recent media attention, but was taking it in stride. "I can handle anything that's thrown at me, but I would appreciate if you didn't bother my friends and family. I'm having a relationship with (Britney), not (the media)."

The interview was in direct response to this exchange. On Thursday night, Spears was spotted at a Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf cafe in Santa Monica, California where she was followed by a pack of paparazzi. As she headed back to her car, Spears told the photographers gathered, "Me and Isaac are not together, by the way."
When photographers asked her if the relationship was really over, she replied, "Yes."
