Anna Nicole Smith's Howard K Stern With Baby, Grants TV Interview

Howard K. Stern has granted an interview with Entertainment Tonight that sounds like it will be a week long series.  He will be under intense scrutiny and criticism from the entertainment media as it has been reported that he was paid for the interview.  Stern who claims that he is the father of Anna Nicole Smith's baby Dannielynn Hope is now in the Bahamas.

He claims that he is there to 'protect' Dani and keep her away from Anna’s mother, Vergie Arthur. Vergie is there to see if she can bring Dani back home with her to Texas. Anna has said in the past that she wishes to never see her mother again.

ET's Mark Steins writes in an online report, "Howard, in tears, at times unable to speak, shares with me that his daughter is the light helping him go on. As the plane lifts above the clouds, Howard thinks of those his precious Anna Nicole left behind. In a voice barely heard above the din of the jet engines he tells me, ‘I want her friends to pray that Anna Nicole is safe, happy and with Daniel.’ After the plane touches down in the Bahamas, watching Howard hold Dannielynn for the first time since her mother’s death is heart wrenching. With tears rolling down his face he reveals the depth of his pain: ‘I wouldn’t be here now, but I had to get back to Dannielynn. I held her in my arms and couldn’t believe her mom is gone. I know Anna loved her more than anything in the world.'"

It will be hard to paint Stern as a sympathetic loving father as he and Anna Nicole Smith fought to keep the child, Anna and the entire interested possible father's from being tested so it could be determined who is the baby's daddy.

When ET asks about the quest by Anna Nicole's mother to assume custody of the five month old baby he bristles and claims that the baby is his.  He answers, "She has no right. She can't take my baby. She can't take Anna's baby."

It's probably time for an American court to sort out this whole mess.
