Britney Spears may have wanted all of the publicity she received from shearing off all of her hair at a public beauty salon. That's the opinion of salon owner Esther Tognozzi. The woman that refused to shave Britney's head bald talked with Ryan Seacrest this morning on 102.7 KIIS FM. Here’s the way it was described on the radio program. Esther basically told Ryan Seacrest that Britney's buzz cut could have been a publicity stunt as she tried to give her privacy by closing the blinds to the shop.

TMZ has the audio of the interview and reports that Tognozzi claims that she had closed the blinds so that no one would see Britney's buzz cut meltdown, and yet pictures that surfaced from paparazzi agencies are all so clear -- it's as if the photogs were in the shop, which Esther insisted was not the case. When asked if bodyguards had opened the blinds, her response was, "I think so."

The photos were indeed incredible and Britney is shown in all of the online video looking out through the windows at the gathering crowd. And it is obvious that if she just wished to shave her head she could have had a professional come to her home and give her the cut. Or she could have sheared of her locks herself at home.
In another development, Esther Tognozzi has apparently set up a web site to sell Britney's locks. In an online note at EsthersSalon.com a note reads:
Hello, My name is Esther Tognozzi and this is the REAL site where you can purchase Britney Spears’ hair that she HERSELF shaved off in my salon. There is another site buybritneyshair.com that claim they have the real hair up for sale and say that you can come and pick the hair up at my salon but I assure you that this is false. They wish you to send the money before pick up and what if you wish to buy the hair and live outside of the country! This is the official site for Ester’s Salon! How else would I be able to put up this message on my site! So get ready to purchase the REAL hair of miss Britney Spears!
The web site adds that 75% of the funds will go directly to charity.
