Angelina Jolie and the father of her children Brad Pitt decided to snub the Oscars. After her disastrous Golden Globes appearance where she was criticized, perhaps Angie thought better of another brush with the Hollywood elite. She didn't just stay in new Orleans either, she flew half-way around the world to avoid the red carpet and another confrontation with Ryan Seacrest. So - who is taking care of the children?

It appears it is Brad's mom to the rescue. Other reports have speculated that may have been why Jolie bailed in the first place but E! Online has a really cute picture dubbed 'Nanny 911' that is of a woman they believe is Jane Pitt pushing the little ones along in the double stroller with this caption: "We're pretty sure that's Brad's mom, Jane Pitt, wheeling Li'l Shiloh and Zahara around the French Quarter while their mom is in Africa. After all, only a grandma would take the babies out while wearing a foot brace…a nanny would have sued for workman's comp already." The photo is here.

Us Weekly magazine give some love to Brangelina here and explains that Jolie, 31, has no time for double-stick tape and a pair of Spanx on Sunday night. The weekly entertainment magazine reports that the Goodwill Ambassador blew off the Oscars to travel to Africa where she immediately got down and dirty in the mud of a refugee campsite.
As the couple prepare to adopt a Vietnamese child (a source tells Us Weekly they're already on the hunt for new help to take care of the newborn), Jolie, 31, jetted off to the African nation of Chad on February 25 to visit with Sudanese refugees. "She wants to galvanize action to end the horrors these people are living through," International Crisis Group's John Prendergast (who's worked with the actress before) tells Us.
