Deputy assistant attorney general Roland Corning has been arrested and charged in a scandal involving a stripper and Viagra. According to "The State," Corning and an unnamed 18-year-old female, cited as an "employee of Platinum Plus Gentlemen's Club" by police, were observed in an area of town known for the type of activity of which he is accused.

The newspaper accounts are a bit racy, here's the PG-13 version. After police sighted the man and the teen stripper, they tried to pull them over. At first, Corning was able to elude them. He would later be caught by the authorities and would give consent to search his car after he and the alleged topless dancer gave "conflicting stories."

The search of his car revealed a sex enhancement drug (Viagra) and some sex toys.  According to the report, Corning told the police he had a prescription for the medication and the other items were always in the car "just in case"he needed them.

He has now been fired! "We received credible information about inappropriate behavior Monday afternoon," Attorney General Henry McMaster said Wednesday. "And by the close of business, he was no longer working here." Swift justice for the one-time assistant AG.
