Victim at Cleveland House Identified (Photos, Video) Tonia Carmichael

Victim at Cleveland house identified - Tonia Carmichael. Police continue to investigate the home of Anthony Sowell.  He was charged with five counts of aggravated murder and ordered held without bond in Cleveland on Wednesday. Now the victim count has more than doubled and police have found eleven bodies.

More charges are likely, the police said. The Cuyahoga County coroner identified the first of 11 victims found in the home of the convicted sex offender as a 52-year-old woman who had been missing for about a year. Tonia Carmichael was her name.

According to CBS News, police Chief Michael McGrath told reporters remains were buried in the back-yard and had marks indicating she was strangled. How could this happen inside a city and are there more victims? What went wrong in this neighborhood?

"We're not talking about some desolate area, some abandoned barn," Councilman Zach Reed told the New York Daily News. According to the newspaper account his mother lives a block away.  He begged, "How did somebody get away with this in a residential neighborhood?" Good question, but police have no good answers yet.
