Christie Brinkley Finalizes - Jon ($180K Light) and Kate Gosselin Just Getting Started

Hollywood divorce news includes Christie Brinkley and ex Peter Cook finally settling up a messy split, while Jon and Kate Gosselin are just getting started and were off to court.  Jon lost out on $180K in funds and is ordered to place it back in the marital account.  Kate had earlier claimed he emptied the account without her knowledge.

He countered that she has done the same as a well in some of their other bank accounts.  Jon and Kate Plus 8 go to court isn't on TLC, but it is viewing for most nightly celebrity shows and Tuesday's court house show was made for reality TV.

The Celebrity Cafe has details on Jon and Kate at the court house, including photos and notes here and adds that Kate Gosselin's attorney said that the remaining missing money (which the lawyer said she used for household bills and expenses relating to the children), "will be subject to further determination by the arbitrator at a later date."

The Christie Brinkley divorce is final and a very ugly chapter can now be yesterday's news for the blonde supermodel.  She and husband Peter Cook split over an affair he had with Diana Bianchi, a young woman that worked for him.
