Facebook profiles of the dead?  It is not for Halloween, the website had to find a way to have people quit sending alerts from beyond the grave.  Giant 'Sea Monster' Found?  The fossil came from a pliosaur, a ferocious predator that lived in the oceans 150 million years ago.

British authorities say a fossilized skull of a giant sea monster has been found off England's southern coast, according to ABC News.  Both stories follow.

One - The social networking website Facebook now has something it's calling 'memorialized profiles.' The problem for many users was that dead people were contacting them through automatic alerts set before they passed.  Some folks were a bit 'creeped' out when their dead friends or relatives sent them a note.  Cathy Beers explains here in "Facebook Sees Profiles of Dead People".

Two - "We knew immediately this was something special," The expedition's director Dr Jorn Hurum said to Fox News. "The large pieces of bone and the structure of the fragments told us that this was big."  Photos, video and more here at the Discovery Channel.
