Janell Wheeler, the sometimes girlfriend of Tim Tebow, the former Florida Gators football star, auditioned for American Idol in Orlando. She sang "House of the Rising Sun" and some reports claim that the sexy blonde has made the top twenty-four for the Fox reality TV show.

Bumpshack has another photo here of Janell with Tim and notes that she is used to singing in public reporting, "Wheeler sang the National Anthem before a Tampa Bay Buccaneers football game earlier this season. She describes herself as the 'Sunshine Cowgirl.'"

Joshua Holmes adds, "If Janell turns out to in fact be one of the Top 24 finalists on Idol then expect her to likely become a fan favorite. She for sure has the looks. If she can actually sing she will be hard to beat."
