CPSC Tracks Recalls for Consumer Safety.

July 2012 Product Recalls - With the month of July nearly complete, a view at the CPSC recall list reveals a variety of products and items recalled this month.

Thousands of items are recalled every year for a variety of reasons and some are potentially very dangerous to the public.

It is the job of the CPSC (the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission) to track the items and inform the public.

The US government website reveals "CPSC is charged with protecting the public from unreasonable risks of injury or death from thousands of types of consumer products."
