Oct 26, 2010
The fashion police are ready to enforce a miniskirt ban. One mayor of a seaside town in Italy is tired of too much skin being shown by females in his town and the "ban will include skirts judged to be too short, jeans that are too low-slung and necklines that are too plunging," reports AFP.
Luigi Bobbio, the mayor of a resort near Naples will fine women who wear 'very short' miniskirts.
According to the Christian Science Monitor:
"In Castellammare di Stabia, Italy, the city council is set to institute a ban on miniskirts and other outfits deemed too provocative, along with football games."
The report reveals the violations would be punished with a fine of up to $700.
