Celebrity Fashion & Style - Holly Valance says a fake tan is her beauty essential.

The singer-and-actress believes having a bronzed look is important but likes to do it in a safe way, so always covers up in the sun and gets her tan from a bottle.

She said: ''My beauty trend for this summer is a great fake tan, like Liberata once a week, and sunscreen and shade when you're outside.''

As well as having a fake tan, Holly - who is set to marry fiance Nick Cundy next month - also spoke of the clothes she likes to take with her when she goes on holiday, saying a lightweight white dress is a necessity.

She added: ''White cotton dresses with elaborate crystal sandals, killer bags to plonk onto the lunch table!

''Kaftans in incredible bright prints. They're effortless and look so chic especially against the back drop of some azure seas!''

Holly is promoting Gallo Summer Red wine, the chilled and refreshing red wine. For more information visit www.gallofamily.co.uk/summerred
