Jon Bon Jovi's 'Unplugged' to be released in the fall.

Jon Bon Jovi is releasing two fragrances with Avon.

The rock star will release dual scents for both men and women titled Unplugged, and is set to appear in advertisements for both.

Jon admits he is delighted to be working for Avon because of their philanthropic efforts.

He said in a statement: ''Avon, and the Avon Foundation for Women, have given support and a voice to those in need for decades. Their philosophy of empowerment sends a strong message and I'm pleased to partner them.''

The fragrances will be inspired by ''passion, soulfulness and intensity''; the men's version will have a woody note while the women's will be oriental.

Lily DeStefano, Vice President of Avon North America Beauty said the 50-year-old singer was the perfect person to have on board.

She said: ''Jon's music and philanthropic work celebrate independence and optimism, two beautiful qualities that radiate from within. The Unplugged scents evoke an emotional connection - something Jon inspires in audiences around the world.''

Unplugged for Her will be released in October, a month before Unplugged for Him.
