Katie Holmes' line sold exclusively at Barney's, New York and Harvey Nicholes, London.

Katie Holmes will present her label at New York Fashion Week.

The 33-year-old actress' emotional life is in turmoil after she filed for divorce from husband Tom Cruise last Thursday (06-29-12) but her debut presentation for Holmes & Yang at the fashion gathering won't be affected by the split.

Her spokesperson told WWD the intimate presentation will still go ahead in September where the 2013 line will be shown.

Katie founded the ready-to-wear line with her design partner Jeanne Yang in 2009. It is stocked in exclusive boutiques including Barneys in New York and Harvey Nichols in London.

The brunette beauty described her collection as basics with a twist which suits everyone from ''rock stars to heads of state''.

She previously revealed the line was inspired by Hollywood icons.

Katie said: ''We love Ingrid Bergman, Katherine Hepburn, Audrey Hepburn,Grace Kelly. So we went back and said, 'What was it about those pieces that made them memorable?' 'Was it the highlighted slim waist, or the shape of the skirt?' And when you go back you understand you were looking at the woman, not the clothes.''
