McDonald's Worker Warns Against Ordering Grilled Chicken - Fast Food Secrets Claimed on Reddit.com Thread
A McDonald's worker warns against ordering the grilled chicken in an interview that claims to reveal the secrets of the fast food giant.
The man’s conversation appeared on Reddit.com on an an “Ask Me Anything” thread on the social site.
The worker is identified as GameMisconduct63 says he’s “seen the worst of the worst customer incidents, altercations, and the overall rudeness of human beings” working at the chain.
He has not revealed his identity past GameMisconduct63 or where he lives but said he is leaving his restaurant - one of the top 500 in the country - in two months to go to college.
Some of the highlights are actually good, check out what he says he did when a bus load of customer's showed up at closing time.
Nightmare at closing time...
"My nightmare came true, I got off 5 minutes before we closed, so it was just my manager and a couple grill workers left, we assumed we were done for the night. Enter band geek charter bus. 100+/- kids get off the bus, I thought about just speeding outta there, but I decided to go back in. I took all their orders, the grill workers made them all, and my manager bagged them all. We made an extra $900, and the store owner told the story of how i came back inside "for the sake of the company" and a central ohio manager meeting, made me feel pretty good."
The best parking lot fight?
"Black family v. Black family, in the parking lot. Half of the restaurant went outside to watch, I think it was started after a fender bender, because they were never inside to eat. They just all pulled in, all got out, and all started yelling, hoopin, hollering, and slapping eachother around. Our mangers went out threatening to call the police, and they moved their argument over to the Krogers parking lot."
You shouldn't you order the grilled chicken?
"For the most part, that is generally true. The steamer is set on high for our grilled chicken, but yes, it doesn't sell too well, and it can remain there for a decent amount of time. Grilled chicken average life span where I work, they can push it to two hours waiting."

Most difficult meals to prepare?
"Happy meals, which involve multiple components including drinks, a choice of fries or apples and different toys for boys and girls. Preparing oatmeal and iced coffees are also time-consuming endeavors."
Messing with the Food?
“Contrary to popular belief, NOBODY (at our location, at least) would ever, ever mess with the food that is going to a customer,” Game writes.
When do burgers get thrown out?
At Game’s location, a prepared burger cannot be sold more than 10 minutes after it is made (though the patties can sit on the steamers for an hour).
How often is the restaurant cleaned?
Every 10 minutes.
McDonald's spokeswoman Danya Proud responded with the following comment, according to the LA Times:
"While this crew member is not a spokesperson for McDonald’s, as with any job, I think we can all agree there are ups and downs, good days and bad. We believe these posts reflect that.
