American beauty Whitney Port loves her trips to London because the women in Britain dress so well with the latest fashions.

They look at times as if they just stepped out of a photo shoot, according to the former reality TV starlet.

The former Hills star - who has her own fashion line, Whitney Eve - says she loves the clothes girls in the UK wear, especially in London.

She said: ''When I first came to London, I was in awe of the girls walking down the street. They looked like they had just stepped out of a fashion shoot, with such a cool mix of prints, color and texture - especially in east London.

''When you're from LA, it's easy to get stuck in that jeans and T-shirt look, but being in the UK has encouraged me to take more risks. I've tried to be a little more street and edgier.''

While Whitney has managed to forge a successful career in the fashion world, she admits it hasn't always been glamorous, especially when she was an intern.

Speaking about an experience working with an unnamed actress, Whitney told Company magazine: ''I had to massage her feet and they were gnarly! It was at the beginning of my career so I did it without saying a word. It's just what you do, but it was gross.''
