Police have now taken a DNA sample from Bobby Cutts Jr in the case of a missing pregnant Ohio woman named Jessie Davis. She disappeared from her home on June 13. Cutts is the father of Jessie's children and continues to deny any involvement in her disappearance. And officials won't call the Canton police officer or his wife, Kelly, suspects. They only say Cutts is an associate of Jessie's.

Authorities yesterday read Bobby Cutts, Jr., 30, his Miranda rights and conducted at least two searches of his home. The mother of a missing woman said she doesn't want to speculate who might be involved in her daughter's disappearance, but thinks reports are pointing toward the children's father.

Porter appeared on CNN saying she just wants her daughter to be found. "I think that from everything that is being portrayed, it points to him and it is very difficult because he is my grandson's father. And I want the truth. I want the truth to come out. And that is the reason I came on this show, because I don't want the attention to be on Nikki and for this to become a circus," Porter said.

Despite that it will happen as the national attention in the case is huge. At about 3:30 pm. yesterday, Stark County Common Pleas Judge Richard Reinbold signed a search warrant authorizing investigators to search Cutts' home. Directly thereafter, officers with the Stark County Sheriffs Department, with assistance from the FBI, descended upon on Cutts' Ayrshire Avenue residence.

According to sources close to the investigation, Cutts has been unable to provide authorities with a solid alibi for his whereabouts from the time Jessie's mother last spoke with her until the following morning.
