Bobby Cutts Jr May Have Killed Jessie Davis in Front of Their Son
Jessie Marie Davis was killed in her Lake Township home the day before her mother reported her missing, according to the complaints charging Bobby L. Cutts Jr. with two counts of murder. That means that the couple's two year old son may have actually witnessed the murder of his mother Jessie by his father Bobby.
The court documents say she was killed June 14 in her Essex Avenue NW duplex. That means that she was killed sometime after midnight. The last time anyone heard from Jessie was her mother at 9:20 pm on June 13. The prosecution will have to prove this charge if this case moves to trial. Right now they are only the charges.
Bobby Cutts Jr. and his friend Myisha Ferrell appeared in Canton Municipal Court today behind a glass paneled wall. Bond was set at $5 million for Cutts, and $500,000 for Ferrell. Preliminary hearings were also set for July 2, with Cutts to appear at 1pm, and Ferrell at 2pm on that date.
A collection of Jessie Davis' family - including her mother, Porter - watched the today's arraignment of Cutts and Myisha Ferrell. Afterward, they said he was a man that was the father of their daughter's child who suddenly became a stranger to him.
"I knew him up to a certain day and then I did not know him at all," Porter said. "I am disgusted with him," said Whitney Davis, Jessie Davis' sister. There have been reports that Cutts have confessed and another report claims that the Canton police officer maintains that Jessie died and he panicked and removed the body.
Neither account has been confirmed by police.
