Cyber Monday Ads 2008: Deals, Weekend Sales & Coupons Sought

Black Friday shoppers are long gone from the malls and the retailers are counting their receipts to formulate a plan to go forward towards Cyber Monday. Will the day now dubbed Cyber Monday save 2008? Shoppers are searching for deals and coupons and rock bottom prices. They are also looking for weekend sales. It appears that many consumers know the secret is out, prices will continue to fall.
Many retailers have moved to the weekend strategy and expect more ads an online deals each day. There is serious speculation that this a make or break season for many retailers and that means they will use anything they can to get buyers interested.

An earlier report noted that many retailers upcoming Cyber Monday deals have been leaked to try and keep interest high for the retail season. Some are offering straight percentage discounts while others are planning specific deals on a certain item or video game bundle.

Everything will be on sale. Cell phone and accessories will be hot gift items as they are relatively inexpensive. Other seem to be looking for HDTV sets and some of the prices are huge drops from just two weeks ago.

A report from Associated Content notes that many retailers are making gheir move strong towards Cyber Monday and include high end stores like Macy's that will be cutting prices along with discount retailers Target and Walmart.
You can also include any store that carries electronics and that means Circuit City and Best Buy will go head-to-head for weekend shoppers and Cyber Monday bargain hunters.
