Gov. Eliot Spitzer has been linked to a prostitution ring and is scheduled to hold press conference at his Manhattan office on Monday afternoon. Fox news is reporting that the Governor could have been known as "Client Number 9". The New York Sun is reporting that the prostitution ring had call girls that charged as much as $5,500 per hour. he may offer his resignation at that time.

Sources are telling Fox News now that the governor will resign. The announcement will be sometime later today the source told the news channel. The 48-year-old Spitzer is married with three children and the news is a shocker.


He earlier had told some of his officials that he is linked to the ring where a federal prosecutor arrested four people in connection with a high-priced prostitution ring. NBC is reporting that he is linked to the "Emperors Club". The first-term Democrat who pledged to bring ethics reform when he was elected to office in 2006.

The governor has been indicted by the southern district of New York sources tell Fox News and that would surely lead to the resignation.
