Missouri Senate Race: Jim Talent Inches Ahead in Latest Poll
Missouri is one of the three key races that will likely determine which part holds the US Senate. Polls have shown that the race is neck and neck and the race really got attention this week when actor and activist Michael J. fox filmed a spot asking Missourians to elect Claire McCaskill.
Fox was slammed by Missouri native and radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh for the spot and all hell broke loose when Limbaugh questioned if Fox was being used and if he was adjusting his medication to display the effects of the horrible disease and the medication that is used to fight it.
Now a post Fox-Limbaugh poll is out and the race is still a toss up.

Rasmussen Reports details the latest finings:
In the contest of inches that has marked the Missouri Senate race from the start; the most recent Rasmussen Reports election survey shows incumbent Republican U.S. Sen. Jim Talent leading Claire McCaskill 48% to 46%.
When leaners are added into the equation, Talent still leads McCaskill by two (50% to 48%). This is the first time that either candidate has reached the magic 50% level of voter support.
[…]
In an election where every vote will count, 44% say they’re “certain” to vote for Talent, 4% probably will but aren’t certain and 2% are leaning his way. Forty percent (40%) are sure they’ll vote for McCaskill, 6% say they’re likely to vote for her and 1% are leading in her direction.

It's hard to tell if the Fox-Limbaugh battle changed any minds - best guess is it didn't -but certainly this race will go to the wire if the polls are accurate.
