When the video hit of the Lakeland teen attack where 8 students atatcked one girl, many were stunned when that many teenagers could gain up on one student and beat her unconscious. More were stunned when the mother of one of the girls that were accused went on television to try to defend her daughter by saying the victim, Victoria Lindsay, brought it on herself.

New Attack Video: Teacher Beating Eerily Similar to Lakeland Teen Attack

Now a teacher named Jolita Berry has been beaten and that video is online as well. The attacks are eerily similar in the fact that the students that did the attacking seem to not believe any law applies to them.


In the Victoria Lindsay beating, the video shows that she is just pummeled by a teen while the other five girls do nothing and two boys stand as look outs watching for any adult intervention. All eight have been charged. In the Jolita Berry beating, it was done at school in Baltimore and a student went nose to nose with the teacher and then refused to back down and began pummeling her.

NBC notes that the video, (you can see that here) recorded on a cell phone by another student, picks up with Berry on the floor trying to defend herself while the girl straddles her, throwing punches at Berry’s head. The teacher said some of the other students cheered on the attacker. Is there anyway to control these kids?
