Dec 7, 2007
Several photos have circulated of Penn State students dressing as Virginia Tech victims. Many people are outraged at the pictures. Va. Tech was the sight of deadliest school shooting in U.S. history. It is no laughing matter to may people. The gunman, Seung-Hui Cho, killed 32 people and wounded many more, before committing suicide in April of this year.

Two photos are now published on the Drudge Report. The students are pictures in Virginia Tech tee shirts with red stains on them. One woman is pictures in an orange shirt with what would appear to be a bullet hole in her shirt and in her face.

Another photo show a man with glasses posing next to a buxom blonde with shirt made up to be a "blood stained" shirt. It is thought by many to be a disgusting prank. One photo is here and another is here. The photos were reportedly from a Halloween party. WSLS reports they have talked to one of the students who wore the costume. He said the outfits were worn to a small party and meant to be private.
"It's not that it was funny, it's that we are notorious and infamous in the state college, so we have to do things that push the envelope just for shock value," he said.

He also offered up this defense as well. "The thing is, everybody's making a big stink about Virginia Tech. Virginia Tech was 32 deaths out of the 26 thousand that happen in America everyday," he said. "That's the problem with college students. They all live in an ivory tower of privilege. They don't understand, when it all boils down to it, it's someone wearing a costume."
Obviously college has not helped this student. Now there have reportedly been threats made to the Penn state students that wore the costumes. A video of the report is here as well.
