President Barack Obama Interview with Fox News Major Garrett from China

Did President Barack Obama finally grant an interview with Fox News and White House reporter Major Garrett in China? The Administration has been at odds with the cable network that covers political news in what they describe as a "we report, you decide" effort, and "fair and balanced" by bringing on both Democrats and Republicans to comment on the hot button political issues of the day.

The Administration made an earlier attempt to shut Fox News out of White House coverage after a spat where they accused Fox of being unfair and biased. The Obama Administration even used talking points and officials claiming Fox was not a real news station and didn't deserve credentials.

Critics complained that led to the appearance that other news networks were pre-screened and would only ask Administration friendly questions and that the president was so weak, he couldn't face tough questions from the one domestic network willing to ask them.
Now it appears after months of silence, Fox will get a question or two. TV Newser has the details and wits in a brief report, "It's official. Fox News' Major Garrett will interview Pres. Obama at 9:20pm ET tonight.
He tweets: "I will interview POTUS on camera Wed am here in Beijing. 4 other networks will too. 10 mins per. Many had asked. Can say now."
