Is Ashley Judd considering a run for a US Senate seat in her home state of Kentucky?

Maybe.

Watch the video below, Naomi Judd says her daughter Ashley still isn’t sure if she’ll seek Mitch McConnell’s Kentucky Senate seat in 2014, but indicates that it is a possibility.

“OK, here’s the deal. As of right now, she doesn’t know,” the country singer told Larry King in a web interview published Monday.

“I can tell you she’s very interested in changing the world. And she knows that politics unfortunately right now is one of the ways she could do that. But I made her promise that if she should make a decision, that I’m the first to know.”

Ashley's first poll numbers were good when she was placed against Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) but the outspoken liberal was hurt when some items were brought up about her past political positions and her current living situation were revealed.

She lives in Tennessee.

HuffPo reveals:

"...support for Judd (plummeted) when respondents were provided with details about the actress, such as her outspoken views against certain forms of coal extraction and current residence in Tennessee, which she represented as a delegate at last year’s Democratic National Convention."

Would you like to see Judd run for the US Senate?
